If you’re a Meizu fan then surely going to rejoice after reading this, after the announcement of Flyme 6 based on Android 5/ 6 which is pretty old now and it’s has been a long since it’s in public beta stage due to that users are quite disappointed. First stable version of Flyme 6 based on Android 5 is just released a few days back for Meizu M3 Note and M2.
While on occasion of celebrating the 5th anniversary of Flyme they have something to double the celebration. It’s been a long since fans are asking about When is stable version rolled out? or Why Flyme is not adopting a new version of Android? seems like all these burning questions will cool off now. On this occasion, as “Flyme fifth anniversary gift” they have announced a new Closed Beta program for Flyme 6 based on Android N/7. Only Pro 6 Plus, Pro 6, Pro 6s, Pro 5, MX6, M5 Note, M3 Note, and M3 Max users are eligible to get this version, it means Meizu M2, M3, M5 series is probably going to be ditched for this release. To get this version users have to register themselves in between June 25, 2017 – July 2, 2017, by entering the model no, serial no & IMEI here to verify their device. The closed beta update is going to be released in 3 batches starting from July 10. It’s also worthy to note that Android O/8 release is going to happen in a couple of months, this treat for fans seems little late now. But we believe that it’s better late than never.
