As per data published by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), the reliance Jio showed an average download speed of 18.809 Mbps leading at first in India. Followed by Vodafone with an average speed of 12.297 Mbps. And then followed by Idea cellular with an average speed of 11.685 Mbps.
Airtel claimed their 4G Network is fastest but it delivered the lowest speed with an average speed of 8.233 Mbps. These numbers actually don’t show the clear picture as the best mobile service provider must have network availability even in remote areas where the Reliance Jio actually need to take it seriously and improve network availability by installing new mobile towers. Airtel, Vodafone and Idea definitely have better network availability.
The data cost have came down and telecom industry has seen a boost in Internet usage just because of Reliance Jio. People who didn’t used the Internet in their lifetime, they also started using the Internet and this is a welcoming step for making Digital India.
The data above is collected and computed with the help of “MySpeed” app by TRAI on real-time basis.
